one week..gasp!

Today marks one week. One week until I start a new chapter in my life. Turing the page after 5 years. I got to thinking last night, how do I pack 5 years up and move on... maybe its the whole bittersweet and excitement for change. I haven't cried, but I'm not concerned because as I have grown I have learned to handle change in a more positive note.

I came across this quote on Pinterest and I thought it couldn't fit my life more. I am not a mess, perhaps I am extraordinary. My life forever will be changing for many years to come and some of it completely out of my control and that's where my undying faith comes in. I am so grateful to have that relationship, to grasp onto something better and bigger than myself. Someone who has had my life planned for me since day one.

I am journeying through some of the greatest years of my life, my twenties. Everyone who I share my story with constantly reminds me that I am young.. I have so much time to focus on myself and make myself happy. I have to remind myself of that often and try not to get to wrapped up in other peoples lives or trying to please people. My courage has grown so much this year and I am so pleased with that. In life a lot of decisions take courage to make and its something I continue to pray about.

Wrapping up a 5 year chapter is such a blessing. The memories, the people, the family, the friends and the jobs that have made me who I am today. Truly an amazing place to have a family and memories forever. Everyone is going in different directions and its time I go as well. Once I leave my life is really living day to day not knowing the next step, But I am okay with that. I am embracing the unknown with faith and open arms. Change is the only thing we can depend on and must welcome it with open arms.

That's a wrap

Days full of laughter

 With Remington :)
This was by far one of the best adventures I have had in sometime! A family friend that we met here in Menom owns a farm, and they get down and dirty on the farm HA Its something some like to call "mud bogging". We got on old clothes, mud boots, a Remington hat and hopped on 4-wheelers. It was so much FUN! At times we drove through 2 foot deep water and just laughed since you had to gun it! Mud was spraying everywhere direction and we just laughed. A few times it got into our mouths but it was all worth the chunks of mud we pulled out and the cold. The Wayne Farm is forever a memory.

Happy Easter 2014! What a glorious day God blessed us with! I was absolutely in love with this day. Church with my dad was so uplifting and then to a beautiful day spent with family, pure bliss. I am so thankful for my handsome little brother. Each year we get older and older but our bond and love for each other only grows more strong and I am so grateful for him.
It is only normal that my dad does this :) photo bombing. But he has a big happy smile on his face so it makes me love it that much more! Each holiday is getting a little more easier to celebrate but I'm grateful that everyone is so understanding and I still got to spend time with both parents.

melted snow

This past weekend was the true beginning of this ladies journey to become a bride. There is something to be said about her as well, we are family. She has been apart of my life for almost 22 years. Over the years we have become not only cousins but also great friends. Now that we are truly growing up we have become that much closer. Neither one of us have a sister but I couldn't ask for someone better to know all about my life and be my friend at the same time. I still feel so honored to stand up next to her on her day. I am looking forward to all the fun that still lies ahead!
Yes, this is a beautiful view of life on a country farm. Also this past weekend my good friend and I went to a family friends we have gotten close to over the year for dinner and little did we know we would have a hay day and get full of dirt. Their 4 yr old son has my heart. A true boy who wears john deer boots and loves to play in the dirt. The whole fam along with Kayla and I took the four-wheelers out for a spin along the country roads and it was like true therapy of fresh air. It brought me back to my childhood of riding them always. I love the peacefulness of the country and will never leave it.

Some of my bestest friends live in other states and when I am able to chat with them on the phone I just miss them all that more. It seems like no time has past and so many memories arise to when we were all together. I know God has the best plan for us all and I thank him always for putting the best people in my life.

Oh, Carrie

I came across this quote from the famous Carrie Bradshaw.. That women never fails to keep reminding me how awesome it is to be a women and to be me. In about 57 days I will be moving home and its all so bittersweet to me. I will be starting another chapter in my life. Though change is difficult I have loving support from my family and friends. I am looking forward to all the benefits living with my family and being closer to some of the greatest friends in the world.

So many things happen in life that we have no control over, God is the true savior. He knew that our heart would hurt through it all but he is there. I am so exited for my future with him. I believe I am still finding my purpose here on this earth. Everything that I have experienced has made me who I am today.

I haven't had any big surprises happen to me lately but it all comes with time. I am focusing on making myself happy. So many exciting things are happening in the upcoming months which you cant help but smile about :)

Timing

They say timing is everything right? And as I grow up I believe more and more in that statement. But when I came across this version of it, it made the most sense to me. Anything that takes a lot of courage for you to do, there will never be a perfect time. When you want something or need an answer, don't hesitate to think that tomorrow you will have more courage because the longer you think about it the more it will make sense. When in reality it is only going to drive you nuts until you make a decision and then peace will rain through your body.

Now that most of my best girls are in the real world now I'm realizing that I can start figuring out where I belong and who I belong with. When will you really know when the right time is to let someone in your life, to start making more time for them than for the other most important people in your life.

My twenties thus far have taught me a lot of lessons on love, friendship and life. I am about to make some big changes in my life but I know its where I am suppose to be... I think right now away. Prayer is the only thing that keeps me sane and at peace with myself. I am so thankful for my creator who never fails to make my heart feel that everything will be okay.

On another note, this Valentines was spent like no other! Lots of love was spread with all the 4 yr olds in our room. Preparing for it with heart shaped cake that the kids got to decorate and eat. Seeing them all excited to hand out their valentine's sure put a smile on my face! Looking forward to one day being swept off my feet :)

Today watching yet another snow fall cover all the earth

small pay checks

Today is another me day, a day off to get inspired, think, read and maybe dig through the goodwill store. I've set my date to leave a place a town I have lived in for the past 5 years. Its exciting and sad at the same time. The amount of growth and memories I have hear could never be replaced. But, that's apart of life right, we can only grow from our past. We grow into the best possible person we were meant to be and there would be no way of getting there if it weren't for our past.

2014, is the year of change for me. I feel like I have a wall up for myself with change. Being afraid of something new... settling for a life that I know I deserved so much more. More of my heart racing and my hands sweating. I'm 23... to everyone else that is super young but to me its old because I have nothing figured out yet. I keep reminding myself I am young... I have so much to look forward in this life God has blessed me with. Some of my girlfriends are planning their wedding! Golly G I cant imagine. I without a boy am focusing my time on my family and friends. Making them feel loved always until its my time. I can be patient with that.

There truly is not enough time in the day to think all the thoughts I want to think and see all the people I wish to see. I chose to have this blog as a diary, to one day look back on my twenties and see all that it has taught me. Its a nice journal to have. Its a place full of secret feelings and holds truth to things I believe in and stand for.

Yes, I am know to take selfies :) I absolutely love the 4th of July and the American flag... so why not take a picture right :) as quoted by one of my best friends: You are one of the select few who can pull of classy selfies. I applaud you and your great accomplishment. HA! I don't post them often but once in awhile.

Now I will continue on with my me day, sipping coffee in a cozy place with a handsome man sitting near me to my left :)

Cheers to you!

"It’s the oldest story in the world. One day you’re 17 and planning for someday. And then quietly and without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And then someday is yesterday. And this is your life. " OTH

Today one of my best friends makes her way to the big city. I am thrilled for the adventure she is about to embark on. To a friend who has struggled the way I have and to a friend who has celebrated how great life is as much as I too. We lived together for two years and God truly blessed us with the rarest friendship of them all. Someone who accepts every flaw you have and drops everything to discover something new in this world is a true gift. J, I am so excited for you. The emotions come and go knowing I wont have you in the same city anymore. Thank goodness for memories and stories that could maybe make us famous one day :)

I love you so much I cant wait to visit and also for your return home :)
